MUST READ BY ALL WHO VIST OR BECOME A CITIZEN
Hi Everyone,
This Blog is a resurrection of a long running thread that was Created by Me (Cartuneman/Cleatus/ John) and The Notorious Vic Perry (Dirty Rotten Scoundral) on the Great Animation Forums (see Link).
My intentions for this Blog is to recreate a on line interactive Comic strip for everyone. All of us that participate have tons of freinds and cohorts that come from many different art forums throughout the net and all are welcome to visit and become a viable member of this blog. But alass there are rules about "Roosterpoot", If there were no rules it would be chaos!
The first thing for everyone is anyone may comment on any picture posted in this blog but to post a Pic you must become a member. To do so is easy, first e-mail me (cartuneman85@yahoo.com) with your e-mail address that you will log into roosterpoot with and I will send You an invite. Once you recieve the invite you must get a googel account and then accept the invite and then within a day I will authorize you to post. Once you are Authorized you may post your pics to this blog. this means that you just became a citizen of Roosterpoot and with that brings great Responsability. If found of an infraction your privlages will be revoked and you will be thrown in the Pokey until you redeem yourself. If you are found to be a spamer you will be Hung! no questions asked. All new members Must create their own Character and submitt it to me (as soon as you can). I will be creating a Citizen list with pics of each of our characters so when anyone visits they can see who lives here. (I'd like to get a short Bio from all citizens to go with your character.) There is no limit to how many characters you want to create.
Lets all grow this into something really great.
I also would like to create an award system for the great additions and or characters that participate. (anyone interested in helping with this contact me please)
None of us know where this story will go because it is add lib all the way. The faster you reply with a pic means you lead the story in a direction. Please allow others to post and add to the story before you want it to change direction. If you visit the old thread at Animation forums titled "I'm calling you out Vic" in the art gallery section you will see how the original was played. If your character is killed for some odd reason in the blog don't worry cartoon characters actually can't be killed they always come back ahahahahaha! and if you don't post in a long time not to worry once a citizen always a citizen of the great little town of roosterpoot.
Oh one other thing.....If you want to use or post copyrighted art (characters or likeness) from other artist you must post recognition of said copyrights and recognize the original artist. I don't want to get anyone in trouble.
Thats about all I can think of now. I'm sure someone else has ideas I'm not thinking of but the ruels are simple and flexable so have fun!

So JK, You animate for warner?
Foghorn and the others have always been faves of mine. they have always an influence on my art. Great job sir!
Seriously, did you animate for WB? Your renditions are really incredible.
O.K I'm takin' you on :P
tomorrow's assignment for myself is none other than Henry the Chickenhawk.
A little tidbit about Henry - he was supposed to be the star, but right from the jump Foghorn stole the show & Henry became more of a side character. I'm not sure exactly how many toons they were in together, I believe the dog (name escapes me) took over as Foghorn's antagonist after Henry Hawk faded out.
Henry was a cool Napoleonic tough guy. While he was probably the godfather of many chars I hated like Scrappy Doo, he came first & gets points for originality. Plus those guys at WB did everything right & their chars were just plain good.
One Henry Hawk coming up. As for taking you on, I'll light my cigarette & put my blindfold on now... oh & I'll take the surf & turf for my last meal :P
It is certainly interesting for me to read that post. Thanks for it. I like such themes and anything that is connected to this matter. I would like to read a bit more on that blog soon.
Keep on posting such stories. I like to read blogs like that. By the way add some pics :)
